
Julie Haywood
Associate - Change Consultant
Julie is an experienced consultant specialising in working with stakeholders to inform and drive change. She has extensive local government and NHS experience within the UK going back to 1995 but has most recently been working with private sector industry and charities. Julie has overseen large and small scale capital projects and has specialised in programmes of work focused on improvement, integration and system alignment.
She has international experience working at Director level in healthcare strategic planning, best practice development, data interpretation/application and health service re-design in the largest integrated public healthcare system in Canada.
Julie’s main areas of expertise are in programme management, stakeholder participation and organisational assurance.
In Julie 2024 Julie completed training with the College of Public Speaking on facilitation as well as master classes in Quality Improvement and Safeguarding. She completed the Executive MBA at the University of Calgary in 2015 and worked in Calgary as Director in Alberta Health Services and an advisor on the Board of the SHARP Foundation in Calgary, a not for profit organisation supporting those affected by HIV. Julie has a Bachelor of Arts Degree (with honours) in Social Administration and a Master of Arts Degree in Applied Social Science, from Lancaster University. Julie also has a Diploma in LEAN System Application, a Diploma in Social Work and a Diploma in Management.
Julie is based in Cumbria, arguably one of the most beautiful places in the world! She is a Board Trustee for Age UK Lancashire and a volunteer at St Mary’s Hospice in Ulverston.
